Sat 12 Feb – The first race will start at 11h30

Sun 13 Feb – The start time for the first will be race will be posted on the notice board by 19h00 on Saturday.

· Braai fires will be lit on Friday and Saturday evening

· Camping fee at R70 per person (in your party) per night to be paid with your entry fee

Welcome to the 70th birthday of Hermanus Yacht Club, and the Opening Cruise for the 2021 Sailing season. The Carioca Class turns 50 years old and is sharing their celebration with the Yacht Club. This will be a very special afternoon to be part of and to enjoy.

SA Sailing Youth National Championship 2021

16th-22nd December 2021

We were happy to be nominated to host The SA Sailing Youth Nationals this year which will be held at Hermanus from the 16th to the 22nd December 2021. The NoR and SI for the upcoming Youth National Championships have been sanctioned by SAS and you can now download them, together with the Entry Form, in the sidebar. Please complete the entry form and forward it to the Regatta Secretary together with your proof of payment.

Hermanus Yacht Club is well suited and organized to cater for people who want to camp. For your camping arrangements get in contact with Jill, the manager at HYC and always CC the HYC Regatta Secretary.

Maaike will be overseeing the Galley and has all sorts of treats and foods available, see sidebar for her Menu and Prices.

Our Race Officers will be Di Hutton-Squire from TSC & Neil Armitage. The Protest Committee will be chaired by Dave Hudson.

420 South African National Championships

27th – 30th September 2019

420 Hermanus 2019 The 420 Nationals this year will be held at Hermanus from the 27th to the 30th of September 2019. The NoR and SI for the upcoming 420 National Championships have been sanctioned by SAS and you can now download them, together with the entry form in the sidebar.
Hermanus Yacht Club is well suited and organized to cater for people that want to camp and there will also be cabins available to rent. For your camping arrangements get in contact with Jill, the manager at HYC manager and always CC the HYC commodore HYC commodore and our regatta secretary Regatta Secretary.

Our Race Officer will be Neil Armitage from IYC, and Protest Committee will be chaired by Dave Hudson.
The practice race will be on the 27th, and it will be the only race that will take place on that day.

There will be a clinic before the Championship. This is run by the International 420 association and the coach that will be sent is Michalis Mileos from Greece, a former 420 world champion. clinic will start on the 22nd until the 26th of September.
